{"id":577,"date":"2005-05-12T21:41:05","date_gmt":"2005-05-13T02:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/uj\/2005\/05\/12\/the-creative-equation\/"},"modified":"2005-05-12T21:41:05","modified_gmt":"2005-05-13T02:41:05","slug":"the-creative-equation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xorph.com\/uj\/archives\/577","title":{"rendered":"The creative equation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The word &#8220;miracle&#8221; keeps coming up in my conversations with others<br \/>\nabout <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/nb\/nb.cgi\/search\/uj?q=Bruce&amp;submit=Search\">Bruce<\/a>, and appropriately so, but I can&#8217;t help but think that such<br \/>\nprofound intersections of the physical and the divine may not be as<br \/>\nextraordinary as we often believe, nor as rare as the term implies.<br \/>\nPerhaps they&#8217;re just the proving of the Universal Law, and are meant to be<br \/>\nthe rule, rather than the exception. Haven&#8217;t the sages, prophets, and<br \/>\nChristed Ones told us as much since the beginning of recorded time?<br \/>\nAnd yet it appears that I only participate fully in this<br \/>\n&#8220;creative equation&#8221; when traumatic circumstances shatter my<br \/>\ndaily mode.\n<\/p>\n<p>Tonight I was part of The Salvation Army&#8217;s annual appreciation<br \/>\ndinner and had the opportunity to hear a talk by Commissioner Fred<br \/>\nRuth, who recently retired as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salvationarmyusa.org\/usn\/www_usn.nsf\/vw-dynamic-index\/85256DDC007274DF85256B76006FA193?openDocument\">the organization<\/a>&#8216;s representative to the<br \/>\nUnited Nations. From New York to London to Eastern Europe to<br \/>\nRussia to Indonesia to New Guinea to North Korea, this dedicated<br \/>\nofficer has literally served around the globe and witnessed countless<br \/>\nexamples of the Light of God intervening on behalf of those in need,<br \/>\nbut only when an individual&#8217;s heart, head, and hand are in the right place<br \/>\nat the right time with the right intent, positioning oneself in service<br \/>\nto His eternal Law.\n<\/p>\n<p>Miracle?
