Stupid single-bit error!\">Go Play Northwest<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/nfd\/2008\/06\/01\/go-play-northwest-con-report-day-one\/\" title=\"\">as before<\/a>, it was one of the best weekends of my year.  I played a lot of games, and wrote up reports on some of them, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.story-games.com\/forums\/comments.php?DiscussionID=9686&#038;page=1\" title=\"'You're mind-melding with a hostile demon computer, and you're not even high!'\">Attack of the Crimson Apes<\/a> (with <a href=\"http:\/\/mightyatom.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/danger-patrol-alpha-playtest.html\" title=\"'Damn this danger we're always in!'\">Danger Patrol<\/a>), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.story-games.com\/forums\/comments.php?DiscussionID=9699\" title=\"'Federico da Montefeltro approached Leonardo da Vinci with a request for a triple-bladed, fire-belching, arrow-shooting sword.'\">Steam Tank versus Marble Army<\/a> (with <a href=\"http:\/\/planet-thirteen.com\/Principia.aspx\">Principia<\/a>), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.story-games.com\/forums\/comments.php?DiscussionID=9743\" title=\"Natasha: 'You didn't tell me you were a criminal! Look at this wanted poster!'  Cyrus: 'That's out of date! The reward is higher now.'\">Saga of the Goblin Headbag<\/a> (with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onesevendesign.com\/ladyblackbird\/\" title=\"John Harper: GPNW MVP.\">Lady Blackbird<\/a>).  I also ran a game of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ludocity.org\/wiki\/Rubble\/\" title=\"Ideally, I would always just come up with vague ideas for games, and Kevan would make them work.\">Rubble<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/ludocity.org\/forum\/discussion\/27\/rubble\/#Comment_311\" title=\"\">discussed<\/a>), and played my second game of Mythender (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.story-games.com\/forums\/comments.php?DiscussionID=9745&#038;page=1#Item_5\" title=\"'I'm sorry we're here.'\">discussed<\/a>, although it may not make any sense).  I played just enough of a game of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animaprimerpg.com\/main\/\">Anima Prime<\/a> to make me want more.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I played in a game of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bullypulpitgames.com\/games\/index.php?game=roach\" title=\"'... Not even if it will get you tenure?'\">The Shab-al-Hiri Roach<\/a> adapted to take place on Wall Street in 1986, which was very funny and which we will never discuss again.<\/p>\n<p>I did manage to go the entire weekend without playing a single game with Jackson Tegu or Joe McDonald, which, I mean, what the hell guys.  They were (along with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comfort-guide.com\/\" title=\"CRAMMED WITH SAFETY\">John Aegard<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/atarashigames.wordpress.com\/\">the Richmond-Smiths<\/a>) two of my most potent catalysts in getting involved with the Pacific Northwest gaming scene, and now they&#8217;ve retreated back to their frozen Canadia.  This will be rectified, gentlemen!<\/p>\n<p>GPNW alone is enough to make me reconsider moving to Seattle every year.
