I&#8217;ve also finally added a loop to the middle of my route that (according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmap-pedometer.com\/\" title=\"Too tired to think of clever title tags.\">Google Maps pedometer<\/a>) takes it up to a proper 5K.  I haven&#8217;t timed myself yet, but I&#8217;m doing it without walking breaks, which has always been my real goal.<\/p>\n<p>My ankles are holding up surprisingly well, I think because most of the route is on dirt rather than concrete.  I feel pretty good about this, man!
