{"id":1355,"date":"2003-05-27T21:41:00","date_gmt":"2003-05-28T02:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/2003\/05\/27\/1355\/"},"modified":"2021-04-14T13:16:34","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T21:16:34","slug":"1355","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xorph.com\/nfd\/2003\/05\/27\/1355\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I want the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030523.jpg\">last<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030526c.jpg\">two<\/a> shots to be the last Idiotcams\u00a9 from in Rodes 2, but there&#8217;s a problem:  apparently I spent all of senior week adding to the Plastic Mullet Series.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, I am aware that thanks to the Fox network, mullets themselves have <a href=\"foxcap01.gif\">jumped the shark<\/a>, but I still find the plastic mullet itself (which turns out to have belonged to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/~wertle\/\">Lisa<\/a> all along, and which she ended up donating to me) a singularly baroque object.  It possesses a level of absurdity above and beyond that of the standard mullet picture.  It is, in short, a higher calling.<\/p>\n<p>That I might better answer its siren song, I present to you <b>Plastic Mullet Extravalooza 2K3!<\/b>  This unprecedented collection not only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030520b.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">the mighty Darren<\/a> at last, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030521.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">new inanimate objects<\/a> and the only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030522.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">girl<\/a> who&#8217;s ever seemed happy to be wrangled into the headdress.  If you order now, you&#8217;ll also get Jon&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030524b.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">whole<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030524c.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">entire<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030524d.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">dang<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030524e.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">family<\/a>, not to mention a couple of Lallys (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030525b.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">elder<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030525.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">younger<\/a>).  To top it all off, this one-time-only special captures the elusive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030526b.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">Evan<\/a> and&#8211;yes!&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/creator\/ic20030526.jpg\" target=\"mullets\" rel=\"noopener\">my own sister<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Back to bittersweet angst soon, I promise, but right now I&#8217;m going to have to glory in the possession of this much dirt on so many people.
