I just realized, thanks to Maria, that Will Arnett? The guy who plays Gob on Arrested Development? Is just doing a David Caruso imitation all the time. Brilliant!
Also, Arrested Development has apparently been cancelled without even being allowed to finish its second season, which sucks.

I finally did what I’ve been threatening to do for over two years: there is now a navigable archive of every single IdiotCam©. I did some horrible things to NewsBruiser’s theme system to make it an image gallery, but it works. You can view things by their post dates or their categories (including the entire Plastic Mullet Series), and you can search for the title text and some other keywords. There’s even an RSS feed, so I don’t have to worry that humans who only subscribe to this site are being deprived of me putting stuff in my nose!
But man, they’re just… they’re just trying so hard.
Okay, the useless trivia generator in my brain is telling me that there was some guy, some old famous writer, who used to get his best ideas as he was falling asleep. He would lie on a couch holding a spoon above a plate on the floor; when he dozed off, he’d drop the spoon and wake himself up, and then go write down whatever had popped into his head.
I am absolutely sure I didn’t make this up, but I don’t know about whom the story ostensibly was. Does anybody else remember?

I just heard two of the people at my job say “make yourself a dang quesadilla!”
The movie has jumped the shark, friends. It has jumped with both skis flailing.
Tangentially, there’s a pretty new place across from my job that’s either a school for the blind or a blindness advocacy group–I can’t remember. Anyway, their logo image is Braille, I think four letters, which presumably matches up with the acronym of their name (at least it does on the sign out front). This logo is repeated around the walls of the building.
