At other times, random visual stimuli cry out to be interpreted more traditionally as representational compositions. I can be influenced in this vein by images of \u201cprimitive\u201d objects or folk art. Less often, conventional nature photography will trigger the pictorial urge. Creatures, faces, and figures hold a particular appeal for me.
