{"id":20987,"date":"2026-04-09T16:23:58","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T20:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/?p=20987"},"modified":"2026-04-09T16:25:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T20:25:14","slug":"proud-to-be-among-the-finalists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/archives\/20987","title":{"rendered":"Proud to be among the finalists . . ."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m pleased to announce that the Artists in Residence have been chosen by Kentucky\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/bernheim.org\/news\/bernheim-announces-2026-artists-in-residence\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest<\/a> and that I was one of nine Honorable Mentions out of 205 worldwide applications.<\/p>\n<p>Even though I didn\u2019t receive a residency for 2026, I\u2019ve been asked to teach a class there in September. My one-day collage workshop will emphasize \u201cpainting in papers\u2019\u201d from nature.
