Not so much as a collector, but acquiring things that caught my eye in a particular way. It grew into an illustrator\u2019s reference \u201cmorgue\u201d for client assignments, and then it gradually became my primary source for collage ingredients. I\u2019ve got enough stuff to last \u201cthe duration,\u201d but I\u2019m always looking for peculiar finds. In the interest of domestic tranquility, quantity is no longer desired nor sought.<\/p>\n<p>Although the process of collage creation involves <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/archives\/category\/methodology\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">many essential things<\/a>, the practice of collage is all about the stash. One must periodically reorganize and refine it.
