{"id":11152,"date":"2018-08-07T11:33:25","date_gmt":"2018-08-07T15:33:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/?p=11152"},"modified":"2018-08-14T11:51:06","modified_gmt":"2018-08-14T15:51:06","slug":"roster-of-shows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/archives\/11152","title":{"rendered":"Roster of Shows"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adding a couple more items to my <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/roster-of-shows\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roster of Shows<\/a><\/strong><\/em>: A collage miniature from 2014, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.xorph.com\/jadixon\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Dixon_MeltingIntoAir.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Melting into Air<\/a><\/em>, was displayed as part of \u201cLittle Pieces,\u201d the fourth exhibition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/216478712107142\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Nashville Collage Collective<\/a>. It was an honor to be invited to participate with the dynamic group. Two of my plein-air collage pieces currently hang in the large grouping of works by members of PAACK. The <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1683306301889691\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky<\/a><\/em> meet regularly for organized \u201cpaint-outs\u201d during the summer months, visiting local farms, parks, and historic landmarks. Locally, the exhibit is an annual favorite. The 2017 exhibit holds the distinction of being the show that yielded the most art sales last year in my hometown of Danville. I\u2019ve been asked to make remarks during the upcoming \u201cgallery talk\u201d at the <a href=\"http:\/\/communityartscenter.net\/exhibits\/en-plein-air\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Community Arts Center<\/a>, scheduled for the last Thursday of August.
