When he awakes, he ascertains that he has travelled through time, and he is conforming to fashions of the early-to-mid 1970s, and his car is a high powered Mercedes-Benz of the same era. People act violently, and there are anomalous occurences. Later, he awakens from his coma in the present time, but is dissatisfied and kills himself in order to return to his fantasy. He is a florist, and has greater job satisfaction in the past, possibly indicating mental instability. His superiors in his fantasy ask him to perform strange tasks.'\">\n<p>Sam gets run over and suddenly it&#8217;s 1973!  Aww crap!<\/p>\n<p>He gets used to it:  the brutality, the petty corruption, the little girl and her creepy clown doll.  He gets these awesome chops and a bomber jacket and a muscle car just right out of Hell.<\/p>\n<p>Later he wakes up and man, I guess he was in a coma?  But the present is all &#8220;professional&#8221; and &#8220;meetingy&#8221; and &#8220;blue camera filtered&#8221; so he kills himself right back to the Seventies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Turns out being a florist in 1973 is perfect!&#8221; he tells his boss.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Go beat up those orchids,&#8221; his boss grunts.<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sam gets run over and suddenly it&#8217;s 1973!
