The shower curtain was wet this morning, and I realized that that’s the first time anyone has takena shower before me this year. Poor Jon had to get up at like 6 and drive to Georgetown (motto:”Where Stalactites Grow On The Power Lines”). I think I said something nasty when I learned thisinitially, along the lines of “Gee, must be awful to get up that early. Not like I do it twice adamn week,” but I didn’t mean it. At least I don’t have to drive when I get up for my8:00.
Now it’s Saturday and I got up at 7:30 out of sheer habit. My body is a reluctant grunt, but ahardworking one, I suppose.
Unfortunately, now I have to wait three more hours for Audrey to show up. I was going to be all coythere (”for somebody to show up–wouldn’t you like to know! tee hee!”), but a) I’m coy toooften anyway and b) I have neither reason nor inclination to hide it. Looking forward to today gotme through an all-night project and four-hour rehearsals this week. I think that speaks foritself.
