Bob, our maintenance guy, brought us three heaters for our flat, so Elsa and I each have a heater in our rooms and there’s an extra one for the common room if we need it. So I’m warm again, very happy.

So I just went to turn in my essay for next week, and I was cutting it pretty close, so I printed everything out and walked quickly to Nuffield, but waited until I got there to fill out the coversheet. So that way, I would make sure I got into the college before they closed. So I had been wearing my hair in a ponytail all day with a headband to keep my bangs back. But as I was in my room, I took the headband off and I forgot to put it back on before I left. But I wasn’t too worried about it. I looked terrible, but that was okay. Who was I going to see? My tutor, apparently. Lee came up as I was almost done with my coversheet, and said hi. He said if I was almost done, he would go ahead and take my essay, but not to rush. And he walked away to let me finish. So I finished it, and gave it to him. And then realized again that I didn’t have my headband on and my hair looked terrible. Not that I really need to impress him or anything, but just to see anyone I know when my hair looked like that would have been bad. So a bit of an embarrassing moment, but oh well. At least I know he got the essay, right?
