Almost done July 5, 2006
Two days left of my internship, which makes me so happy. Monday, I start the PR internship, and I’m going out to lunch with the intern coordinator, so we can get things figured out for the time that I will be there. I’m so excited. My weekends go by quickly, but my weeks are so slow while I am here. I’m bored during the day and now that I’ve finished Harry Potter, I can’t find books that are as good, or I have them and then leave them at home. I hope this internship makes the time pass more quickly, just until Kyle gets home. Then it can go very slow until I have to leave for England. I’ve talked to Kyle a couple of times and we’ve been e-mailing. I really have no life because there is nothing to write about on here.
Last week I hung out with Lindsey and she made me dinner, which was very yummy. We watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith too. I also went to Campbellsville and hung out with family and went up to Louisville to eat with Brendan and Monica and friends at the Mayan Gypsy, to go before it closed. All that was done in reverse order that I talked about it though.
For the 4th I went with Kim and Lee to the Mayor’s party and had good seats to watch the fireworks at Gibson Bay. I’ve never seen the fireworks there in all the time I’ve been in Richmond because we always went to celebrate with family, but my mom had to work and having the 4th on a weekday didn’t help much with trying to do that this year, except that I got off work. So really that’s all that has happened to me since I wrote last. Oh Ian came home for like a second and then flew to New York, so he’s no longer living in California, but the Big Apple, and Brendan might be there soon too because he quit his job to do web design full-time in his pajamas for a Manhattan company. Crazy boys. I’m just keeping busy with reading, trying to find money for Oxford, and sleeping. Okay so maybe I’m crazy too.
