I am positive I've seen six-sided dice with chess pieces on the faces before, but I can't seem to find any now. Anyone else? Anyone?

Anyway, if they do exist and you packaged 32 of them up with a board and some rules, you'd have a bona fide game package here. Would you mind posting this on the wiki? I want to try it out, and if I do I'll post a playtest report on the discussion page.

I've seen dice with chess pieces on them. There's a Steve Jackson game called Proteus which comes with 16 of them in two colors. There must be a cheaper way to get them.

It's on the wiki, though I'm not to familiar with wikis, as a rule, so it's not pretty. I suppose some enterprising person will come long and fix it up.

Here are the rules for Proteus, in case anyone was interested. I was worried that the games would be too similar, but they seem different enough.
