FindPlay is a small, free, basically perfect utility for finding other gamers in your geographical area–just tell it your three favorite games and your location, which it converts to GPS, and it’ll tell you about people within 35 miles (and when they were last active). Brilliant.

FindPlay was built by Clinton Nixon, one of the architects of the Forge, so it’s very much an indie-RPG resource at the moment. I imagine that once it shows up on RPGNet (if it hasn’t already) the population density will increase quickly. The FP software is open source, created with Ruby on Rails.
